About Harbour & Hangar

An independent guide to empty-leg private jets — mapped to the events the jet set actually flies to.

What we do

Harbour & Hangar tracks empty legs — the repositioning flights private jets fly when they drop a client and have to head home or on to their next pickup. Operators sell those legs at a steep discount, often 25–75% below full charter, because the alternative is flying the aircraft empty. The catch is that they're perishable: a leg lists, and then on its departure date it's simply gone.

Most empty-leg sites stop at a search box. We add the layer nobody else does — a calendar of the events the jet set flies to, from the Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes to Courchevel, Ascot, Art Basel and St Barths for New Year. Each event page tells you where the legs actually originate, which gateway airports fill first, what aircraft you'll see on the route, what it realistically costs, and the live legs matching that route right now.

How the booking works

We're an independent aggregator of live empty-leg flights. When you enquire on a flight, you're handed straight to a private-jet broker — one that works only with ARGUS- or Wyvern-rated operators — to arrange the quote and booking. Your price is identical whether you book through us or go direct; we earn a commission from our partners on confirmed bookings, at no cost to you. We don't operate aircraft, take payment, or handle your booking ourselves — our job ends at the introduction.

Why trust the numbers

Pricing on the site is indicative and updates from the live feed; empty-leg availability changes by the hour. Where we quote ranges — empty-leg versus full charter, per-aircraft hourly rates by class — it's to help you sanity-check whether a listed deal is genuinely a deal. We'd rather you walked away from a bad one than booked it through us.

Who we are

Harbour & Hangar is a property of KFTA Group Ltd, a UK company. The site is brand-fronted by design — we'd rather be judged on the quality and honesty of the guidance than on a byline. And because the site only earns its keep when you book, at no extra cost to you, our incentive is to be straight with you about the numbers — even when that means telling you a deal isn't one.
